Bob Wendell here. I´m the founder, as well as a partner in the Gateway Marketing Group of Colorado, LLC (GMGofColo). We market a broad spectrum of products, but our flagship is our whole food nutritional supplement line. So what is this all about? A memorandum on a nutrition primer, Nutrition 100? We believe that a great relationship between you, the customer, and GMGofColo can only be attained when you are a knowledgeable consumer. You may ask yourself, why do I need whole food nutritional supplements? The answer is simple. Your body is a complex machine that is deficient in nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, & enzymes. Metabolism:
The chemical and physiological processes by which the body builds and maintains itself and by which it breaks down food and burns fat to produce energy.
Minerals:
A nutrient required to maintain health. Examples are Magnesium, Copper, Iron, and Zinc.
Nutrient:
A chemical compound (such as protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamins, or minerals) that make up foods.
Nutrition:
The digesting and use of food and other nutrients by the body.
Probiotics:
Supplements containing the beneficial bacteria, which promotes good digestion,
Supplementation:
Adding nutrients to the diet.
Vitamins:
Are key nutrients that the body needs to grow and stay strong. Examples are vitamins A, C, and E.
Whole Foods:
